Everything was splendid! My room was spacious and comfortable, and I enjoyed chitchatting with fellow guests while watching football. The cleanliness was on point, making it feel like a snazzy home away from home.

But who knew I had to leave the bathroom door ajar, or I might just disappear in fog? And don’t even get me started on the coffee—it was more ‘wake up and scream’ than ‘wake up and smell. ’

The indoor pool and hot tub were overcrowded during the evening, with kids splashing about, making it hard to relax. The cleanliness of the pool area left something to be desired, with dirt visible in the hot tub foam and hair floating in the water. Additionally, the hotel felt more like a pet park with numerous unrestrained dogs around, adding a layer of distraction and noise I didn't expect.

The beds were like clouds, each night was more relaxing than a dog at a grooming salon. The free snacks during the evening kickback had me feeling like I was at a holiday party, complete with nachos and hot dogs that tasted like they were made with love—who knew a hotel could serve such culinary joy?

The general areas of Drury Inn & Suites Amarillo were welcoming, beautifully decorated with Amarillo themes, and very spacious, making it easy for seniors like me to navigate comfortably throughout the hotel.

More comfortable seating in common areas would be nice.
